Visiting Daddy!

We love to visit Daddy at work, especially now that we can walk there. And it helps that there's a grill at his work with tasty food :)

I convinced my mom to come with us the other day! A few pictures:

We have been doing so many fun things this month, Nate's second Father's Day and a sister-in-law getaway (to name a couple)...hopefully I can blog about these events soon!

always behind

It seems that I am always behind on blogging... so many events or trips or just cute things happen that I plan to blog about but don't get to it. Busy mom life I guess!!!!
My kids are against me having my computer out, so that is part of the issue I suppose! Evenings are spent not on the computer, but doing projects, crafts, workouts and quiet time with hubby.

I do however need to post about our awesome trip to Dallas last weekend. We were so excited to meet our new niece Evelyn. A beautiful baby, just 5 weeks old!!! We got to be apart of her blessing, and it was a special weekend for us.

It was our kids FIRST plane flight ever!! I was so excited and nervous, but we planned everything out well... it went smoothly. Part of our brilliance was two grandparents coming along on our flight :) After our first leg of the trip, the kids got to meet the pilot and go in the cockpit briefly. VERY cool! They also got these neat certificates:

Below is all of our stuff after a long day of flying... welcome to Dallas!

My daughter on my back :)

We went to an awesome place called the Fort Worth Science and History Museum, it was a great day and everyone had a blast. My kids and nephew were entertained for hours. It was amazing :) Now I know my kids are ready to explore museums in our area. I am SO excited for this.

Some random sights that caught my eye while driving. We clearly needed a few more days to get to all the historic sights, but the weather is extremely hot and humid so one huge outing a day was enough for everyone.

The highlight of our trip was seeing family, but it was exciting to be somewhere new and see places we have never seen before.

It is a happy and blessed life. I am excited to blog about other upcoming adventures, trips and news :)
