Oh, Christmas Tree!

Oh, Christmas Tree!

end of 2014 trip log

The last 2 months of 2014 were SUPER crazy! We went to Hawaii, St. George, San Diego and Portland!  I think we have traveling with TWO one year olds down! It was hectic but fun and many memories were made!

Hawaii was beautiful. Weather was delightful and accommodations were great. We went to the beach, did a little snorkeling, but mostly relaxed as a family. The hotel had cute cribs in our huge family suite. We were able to put the cribs by the huge windows so that the kids could overlook the beautiful ocean below. The Dole Plantation was another hit- I LOVE train rides!!! The maze was fun and dole whip frozen yogurt was super yum!

St. George was filled with family time, biking, and mostly seeing great-Grandpa. The twins had sure grown a lot since he saw them the year before. Another highlight to this trip was the St. George Children's Museum. A huge hit with my kids!

San Diego was super fun. The weather was nice, and the family activities were great. One highlight was renting a surrey bike, a bike that all of us could fit on!  We also BBQ'd on the beach for Christmas Day dinner. It was lovely and an experience we won't forget. We stayed one night in Venice Beach and the other nights in Mission Bay.

From the SD trip we flew to Portland for a huge reunion with Nate's sisters, their spouses and kids, and Nate's parents. We were spoiled with tons of fun presents for O&G. We also got to try fun food at Portland's amazing restaurants. We also went to OMSI where the kids had a great time playing in the toddler area.

I feel so blessed and fortunate to have the ability to visit family, enjoy new experiences, and create life long memories with Nate and the kids.

We have some things in store for 2015, but that will have to wait for another day, another blog.
